Learn to Play Dungeons & Dragons for Kids (Online)
These are 4-week series, each session being 2-hours long, and they take place in Pacific Standard Time.
In this program we will be teaching your children all they need to get started to learn Dungeons & Dragons. We will walk them through the basics of the game, how to build characters, learning the concepts behind roll playing and getting into character during the first session and then lead them on a fun adventure. This is a great way for kids to make new friends and use their imaginations.
The events will take place ONLINE via Roll20 and Discord. We email out invitations with instructions about how to set up your accounts and get all set prior the sessions starting.
Gamers will learn to work together as a team, practicing creative problem solving and growing their imaginations.
• Children that have a difficult time moderating their emotions should have an aide or parent nearby.
• Children should be supervised to make sure they are not being distracted with other electronics while playing D&D- it is important they pay attention, be respectful to other players as well as the Dungeon Master.
• Missed sessions cannot be made up.
Rules Of Engagement:
If any of these rules are broken, players are removed from the game and parents are not refunded the enrollment fee
• No attacking other characters. The gamers and their characters should always play together, not at odds.
• No cursing, or yelling.
• No verbal abuse.
Additionally, we know that gaming can be emotional for some, but it is important to remember this is a game. The most important thing is that everyone is having fun.
We do not offer refunds if your child dislikes the event or fellow players. We will do all we can to remedy any group situation that causes any upset.
